Episode 1

Escape to the Sun

Cage and Moon are a couple of down and outs roughing it together in a run down bed sit in the East End of London. Unemployed and struggling to make ends meet, they while away their time at the local pub, The Sun, run by grumpy landlord Arch and his dog Saber. Among the other regulars is their friend Nancy, who works as a stripper to earn a living, plus old couple Harold and Ede. But Cage and Moon live in fear of local debt collector Alan and his sidekick Keith, who seem to be looking for them. When Cage and Moon return to their bedsit, they discover that the duo have stripped their place due to "financial obligations", but have no idea why. Not only that, they need to find a place to live - sharpish.

Episode 2

In Between Days

Cage and Moon are now dossing down at their local pub The Sun along with their possessions after pub landlord Arch unknowingly bought them off local heavies Alan and Keith. They meanwhile have acquired sunglasses to boost their image, but it makes it a little difficult when going about at night. Arch is having trouble with rats and a leaky pub and there's a storm on the way, while Cage is eager to keep out of pal Nancy's way for once. For Nancy has agreed to look after one of her stripper pals' boa constrictors and Cage is not keen to meet it.

Episode 3

The End of the World

The new area manager visits with shocking news for pub landlord Arch Hardcastle - if The Sun pub doesn't start making a profit soon then it faces closure. This is bad news for Cage and Moon as if the pub goes under, they will be out on their ears. With another pub, The World's End also struggling Moon comes up with a rare bright idea, a darts match between the two pubs in a bid to attract customers and raise revenue. However, when they go to approach The World's End with the idea, they are stunned to see that local hoodlums Alan and Keith are now running the place. And they have an offer of their own for the boys - lose and Nancy will have to work for them stripping at their pub.

Episode 4

A Slice of Life

The Sun pub has a month in which to turn things around and in a bid to boost trade the brewery have installed a arcade machine and TV in the pub, but landlord Arch is not happy about it. It doesn't help that local hoodlums Alan and Keith are rounding up customers from other pubs to fill their own local, leading Cage and Moon desperately trying to think of ways of boosting trade for their local. Meanwhile Keith thinks he has a chance of chatting up stripper Nancy - something Nancy thinks she might be able to use to her advantage.

Episode 5

Love Among the Ruins

After Cage's critical comments about a Page 3 girl in the newspaper, Nancy decides to show them what it is really like for strippers and girls of that profession by taking them to a strip club - unfortunately for them, it's The World's End pub. However, Cage soon meets Nancy's stripping friend Carmen and upon falling for her decides he is tired of being considered a weakling and takes up body building. Meanwhile Moon meets the mysterious owner of the Mercedes they saw meeting Alan and Keith, while Arch receives shocking news from the brewery - they are selling up.

Episode 6

The Rising of the Sun

The gang are shocked to discover who is the new owner of The Sun pub, while Cage and Moon look set to be homeless again and have to look for new accommodations. In desperation they seek out their local MP for support, but their actions make very little headway. Intriguingly the new owner doesn't like being photographed - but why? When things start to look bleak, it seems that Moon's new hobby of photography may yet save the day as Cage decides to investigate why their new owner is so camera shy.
