What a Dummy

Ed Brannigan's Great-Uncle Jackie dies and leaves a trunk full of props from his ventriloquist days. His dummy, Buzz, has been locked in the trunk for 50 years. When Ed's family in Secaucus, New Jersey opens the trunk and finds Buzz, they discover that he can think and talk; in fact, he goes around giving everyone in the house--Ed, his wife Polly, and their three children--advice. What will their next-door neighbor Mrs. Travalony think? 24 episodes of this syndicated show were produced in 1990 and 1991; the show debuted in September 1990.
