Ultraman Nexus

Ultraman 80, disguised as mild-mannered schoolteacher Takeshi Yamato, defends the Earth from ferocious giant monsters, which are the result of negative energy from human anger.

Ultraman Orb, a warrior of light, battles monsters and aliens threatening Earth.

Kyutaro (Kazuki Kitamura) is a swordsman who was feared by people at one time. Now, he is poor and lives alone quietly. Kyutaro doesn't know how to earn money without using his sword. By chance, Sakichi (Shingo Mizusawa) happens to see Kyutaro's swordsmanship and offers to hire him for a job. Sakichi wants Kyutaro to kill a white cat named "Tamanojoh" which his boss Yozaemon (Yozaburo Ito) is fascinated by. According to Sakichi, after Yozaemon began to raise the cat, he changed to a childlike person. Kyutaro initially turns him down thinking its an absurd request, but decides to take the job for the money. When Kyutaro opens the door to where the cat is, he sees the lovely white cat.

In the 21st century, humanity is threatened by rampaging monsters of unknown origin. Officer Chouichirou Hikari of the Science Defense Squad is bonded to Ultraman Jonias, an alien from the planet U-40 who has been tasked with defending the planet Earth. The joined heroes face many foes while maintaining a secret identity. The actual threat is a planned alien invasion by the Heller Empire, a renegade faction of Ultra People.

In the first decade of the 21st Century on Earth, the rising of the population results in low quality of life, as well the increasing number of ESP incidents and alien invasions. At Nebula M78, the information service of the Space Defense Force watches these phenomena and throughout the Space Security Service.

A young man, like his lost father, is destined to become a metallic reflection-powered superhero to fight monsters created by a sinister alien menace known simply as the "Invaders".
