Revolves around a local cop struggling to keep his family together while simultaneously policing two clashing communities: the small town where he grew up and the neighboring mountains, home of a Native American tribe. After a terrible tragedy and coverup occurs involving the cop's wife, an unholy alliance is forged between the cop and Phillip Kopus, a dangerous member of the tribe that will come back to haunt all involved.

In this moving BBC drama, the Hughes family living in the Lake District are like any other family; when their young son Joe is diagnosed as autistic, their lives are changed forever, and the family members must pull together to better learn their son's condition.

Based on true events, Appropriate Adult tells the story of British serial killer Fred West (Dominic West) and his relationship with his "appropriate adult," Janet Leach (Emily Watson). After volunteering as West's appropriate adult - a person from the community who assists vulnerable adults facing criminal charges - Janet finds herself sitting with West during his highly-charged police interviews.

"Rectify" shows the life of suspected murderer Daniel Holden, who served 19 years in prison in Georgia and has now been released due to exonerating DNA evidence. When he was 18 years old, he allegedly brutally murdered a 16-year-old girl. His return to his family is heartfelt, but the majority of the inhabitants of his home town still firmly believe he is guilty. A difficult time begins for Daniel on his way to being able to lead a normal life again.

American PR consultant Liz Garvey is hired by Metropolitan chief constable Richard Miller to help the police force improve its image. At the same time, documentary-filmmaker Matt Coward is shadowing Territorial Support Group officers Davina, Robbie, and Clarkey as they arrive at a not-very-well-organized Kurdish protest march where Robbie must remember he is being filmed and tone down the abuse. Elsewhere, Officer Warwick accidentally apprehends an innocent mother whom he has erroneously suspected of being a drug addict. Liz's introductory speech is interrupted by news that a sniper is randomly shooting people around the capital and her disgruntled assistant Finn, annoyed at being passed over for promotion, deliberately makes her look stupid at a press conference by withholding information - as a result of which he is almost sacked. Liz discovers that the sniper is an embittered divorcee who is posting messages on Twitter, from which she locates where he is hiding. The TSG dump Matt to join the stake-out team, who defy Miller by raiding the house, Warwick taking out the sniper. However, the success of the exercise is due more to luck than design, a fact about which Liz and Miller decide to keep quiet.

Smart, dedicated teacher Laura is not long out of a relationship and unsure about returning to the dating scene. Andrew is a renowned surgeon whose son is a pupil at Laura's school. An initial attraction leads to a date, but neither fully realizes the far-reaching consequences that their meeting will have on each other or their families. Truth and consequences go hand-in-hand in this tense, gripping thriller that examines both sides of a relationship and both sides of the truth. Are there really two sides to every story?
