The Marshal of Sladetown

This series follows the exploits of Wyatt Earp's descendants. His namesake works as roustabout at Slade Town Carnival. His eccentric family includes his slightly senile mother, Amanda who fancies herself a bounty hunter and is constantly pursuing wanted felons but Wyatt's the one who has to deal with them. And his brother, Evan who thinks of himself as an inventor and is constantly making things that don't make sense and is also making all sorts of schemes that Wyatt gets caught up in. Jack Slade's his boss, who puts up with Wyatt's family cause he needs Wyatt. And Ellen Slade's daughter who teaches the children of the carni folks including Wyatt's son, Michael and who has a thing for Wyatt.

The Carnival That Ate Sladetown

Handyman Jerry Pezlinsky AKA Spike Love, is framed for murder and the Earps try to catch the real murderer. A large Thrill show tries to shutdown Sladetown. Michael Earp gets in a fight on his first day at a new school.

While taking a prisoner (Dick O'Neill) to the police, Wyatt and Amanda are hijacked by a Texas bounty hunter (Don Stroud) who steals their prisoner. Meanwhile Evan is arranging to raffle off a repossessed Trans Am at a Policemen's Benefit.

Evan is in hot water with the U.S. Post Office and the Mob thanks to his various get rich quick schemes. Naturally Wyatt gets caught in the crossfire. Not only is Sladetown plagued by a rash of petty thefts, but someone is trying to steal Wyatt's girlfriend Ellen.
