After a fortune-teller tells Bella she'll die alone unless she finds and reconquers the right man among her exes within the year, she gradually works trough the fairly long list. Bella's neighbors, confidants and virtual house-mates, 'Augie' Augustine and Cyrus, as well as her kid sister Daphne, her fiancé Marty as well as their dad, Navy veteran Jimmy, all try to advise and assess the recycled candidates. Those include veterinarian Elliott, her last ex with whom she shares custody over dog Rufus.

The carnival 'medium' Bella arranged for all girls at her sister Daphne Bloom's hen night convinces Bella she'll marry one of her exes within the year or die utterly lonely. Taking that seriously, she ignores her dependable ex Elliott Mayer, whom she only meets on account of shared custody of dog Rufus. Instead she tries to make up with hyper-emotive rock musician Johnny Diamont, whose heart she crushed a year ago by dumping him on his by-the-way-forgotten birthday. Johnny hesitates whether to take her back or exact just revenge.

Ciao, Bella: CBS' Fridays Are Now Ex List-less

It would seem that Bella will never reunite with her one true love. CBS has pulled The Ex List from its Friday line-up effective immediately. To date, 11 episodes (including the pilot) had been filmed, so seven remain unaired. Despite debuting to decent critical notices, The Ex List has struggled in its berth between heavy hitters Ghost Whisperer and Numbers - both of which hit season highs this past week, while the Elisabeth Reaser-starrer sank to a low.
