A sequel series to the Brady Buch, focusing on the sisters Marcia and Jan Brady and their respective husbands. Marcia works as a fashion designer, while Jan has followed her stepfather's footsteps and works as an architect. The two young women marry their new spouses in a a double wedding, and then decide to share an affordable house. However, their husbands have clashing personalities and the co-habitation is somewhat difficult. Jan's husband is the conservative and uptight college professor Phillip Covington III, while Marcia's husband Wally Logan is a laid-back toy salesman with bohemian views. Worried about her daughters,, Carol Brady frequently visits them in an attempt to act as the peacemaker of the family. Carol also provides self-defense lessons to the two girls, as she doesn't trust either of her son-in-laws to be of much use in case of a home invasion.
