Down the Rabbit Hole

Alice returns to her home and tells her father, who believed her to be dead, about her fantastic stories concerning a talking White Rabbit and a mystical place called the Wonderland. When her father doesn't believe Alice, he ends up having her admitted to a mental asylum where the Dr. Lydgate convinces her to undergo a procedure that will allow her to forget her pain. Just before the operation, Alice is rescued by the Knave of Hearts, who takes her to the Rabbit who informs her that her true love, Cyrus, is still alive. The trio then jumps through a portal that takes them back to the Wonderland, and Alice embarks on a quest to find Cyrus, but the evil Jafar and the Red Queen have other plans for her.

ABC has canceled Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, TVGuide.com has confirmed. The Once spin-off will air its series finale next Thursday at 8/7c. A promo following its penultimate episode also noted that next week's episode will be the series finale.
