When General Mukate was ousted from power in a fictional African country, he is rescued by his loyal bodyguard Solomon, and is granted asylum in the UK. He hires an experienced Personal Assistant, Ellen, and proceeds to make life a living hell for his Home Office liaison, Bishop. The show revolves around Mukate's inability to come to terms with not being a head of state any more, Solomon's wish to be a professional dancer and Bishop's attempts to keep the fact that Mukate is in the UK a secret. Episode dealt with such varied topics as Mukate's attempt to make some money by becoming a professional public speaker, Ellen's Ex wanting her back, the truth about Solomon's father (not what your thinking) and an attempt by Mukate's replacement to have him kidnapped and taken home for trial.
