In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, she and Terry cash in all their savings and move the family from the "crazy" city to a large old house in the suburbs that has its own storied past. Everyone has their demons, but Pat Phelps' might be real.

Ulysses and his friends Carly, Ford, and Severine are on various quests pursuing love, sex and fame in Los Angeles.
