Lena Schühle is generally well-liked: Her supervisor promotes her to head of marketing at the Hamburg welfare association, and the employees at the sheltered workshop also appreciate her dedication. But suddenly, a discriminatory post about ableism appears on Lena's social media account. It has been hacked. At the same time, she receives threatening letters, pieced together from words cut out of the association's newsletter. Whoever wants to harm Lena Schühle is clearly someone from her professional circle. For Lukas Petersen and Bente Hinrichs, more and more suspects come into consideration. When a fake video featuring Lena Schühle is released and an explosive device detonates in her mailbox, it's clear: The person who wants to destroy her reputation is prepared to do anything to achieve their goal. Meanwhile, at Precinct 14, the officers say goodbye to their watch commander, Helmut Husmann, who is taking early retirement and moving to Denmark to manage a miniature golf course. Daniel Schirmer is tasked with reviewing applications for Helmut's position-and rejects each one with a different excuse.

It's an unequal contest between young Alicia and Nele, Alicia's father's girlfriend: both desperately want to participate in the Atlantic Challenge, an international rowing competition across the ocean. Even though Nele is well-trained, she can't keep up with Alicia's physical capabilities due to their age difference. After a training session, Alicia collapses unconscious into the water. Lab tests reveal that her water bottle contained a performance-enhancing drug, to which Alicia suffers a life-threatening allergic reaction. Alicia has always vehemently rejected doping. Who would secretly use amphetamines to boost her muscle power to peak performance? Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez also suspect Alicia's ambitious father, Jan Trebus, who had recently bought performance-enhancing drugs from the rowing club's bartender and now fears for his daughter's life. Meanwhile, Tarkan Yildiz (Özgür Karadeniz) begins his service at Precinct 14 and, as a welcome gift, brings a foosball table into the station, which has to be hidden from Ms. Küppers. But, as usual, nothing escapes the chief's notice.

Asphalt-Piraten

Pirates are no longer just feared on the high seas, but have also become a criminal business model in land-based freight transport. When truck driver Charlie Kellinghusen and her truck vanish without a trace, the officers from Precinct 14 and Charlie's distraught wife, Susi, initially assume it's a missing person case. But by chance, Bente Hinrichs and Lukas Petersen come across another truck loaded with coffee beans. It's the cargo Charlie had previously loaded. Alongside their investigation, Nils Sanchez and Tarkan Yildiz discover coffee as a ritual and enthusiastically experiment with all sorts of herbs and spices to refine the aroma of the hot beverage. A fuss that Daniel Schirmer, however, finds completely unappealing.

Episode 4

Nikki hat die Schnauze voll

Nikki and Aishe are not only colleagues at the security service, but also close friends. While the ever-cheerful Nikki is on cloud nine just before her wedding, Aishe remains grounded and earns money as a security guard to study. One evening, the parcel center they guard together is broken into. Nikki gets in the way of the perpetrator, but he manages to escape with a bag full of fentanyl vials: an anesthetic that, when cut, is worth a fortune as a drug and is extremely dangerous. Nikki remembers the burglar's familiar cell phone ringtone most vividly. Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez also recognize the melody, but they can't recall the name of the song. They do, however, notice that Aishe's brother was released from prison a few weeks ago. Furthermore, the folder containing all the access codes and information about the parcel center is missing from the security office. The boss fires Aishe and Nikki. She is now without a job and possibly without a wedding - and for the first time, she is no longer in a good mood, but fed up.
