Li Haichao is a single parent. His wife passed away during childbirth and he makes his living with running a restaurant to take care of his daughter Li Jianjian and He Ziqiu who is the son of the woman he was dating who suddenly disappeared. Their new neighbor Lings had lost their daughter because of an accident and Chen Ting who is the mother and wife of this family became mentally abnormal. Finally, Chen left the family and Ling had to take care of his son Ling Xiao on his own. Therefore, two men decided to work hard and raise their kids together. Since then, they lived happily together. But when Chen and Ziqiu's birth-father Zhao Huaguang suddenly showed up, the harmony of the family seemed to be broken.
