An amnesiac wakes in a stranger's house with nothing but a ticking gold pocket-watch. The stranger takes the amnesiac in and gives him the name "Jack." As shreds of memory of a home and a father return, Jack longs to find his father, but the stranger won't allow him to leave his house, and coerces Jack to question whether reconciliation with his father is even possible. Jack escapes the house, and searches for clues that will lead him to his father. Along the way, Jack meets his forgotten sister Joan. Joan is bitter toward him and refuses to re-introduce him to their Dad. Her reasons unfold, as secrets about Jack's past mistakes come to light. The stranger's continuous reappearances, Joan's relentless bitterness, and the amnesiac's guilt over the hurt he's caused his father lead him to the edge of suicide. Will he be able to reunite with his father?
