A man named Leng Steel, born with a body-metalizing ability, survives an assassination gone wrong and is saved by a tavern owner and her sister Maizi, who has psychic powers. As evil forces target them, Leng finds new purpose in protecting Maizi, battles foreign mutants, and begins a new chapter in his life.
