Jungle is a home and animals are family to a Mahout who has been awarded by president of India for planting over Lakh trees himself in the jungle everyone refers him as Bandev (lord of the forest).A plan of township project comes up in the mid of the jungle where the contractors start cutting trees to build up their project Bandev and villagers decide to protest against it as the project will block the lake where elephants go to drink water and also a meeting point for their loved ones the elephants also destroy their site in jungle.Bandev with help of DFO Vishwajeet finds documents which proves that land belongs to his family and on lease with government who can't use it for illegal purpose.The contractors hire Mahout Kumki Shankar whose trained elephant Chotu will keep jungle elephants away from their site.While Minsiter Jaganath Sevak whose dream is township project plays his cards and terms Bandev as terminally ill and has him admitted to asylum.While Bandev is away from jungle the township developers successfully build a 7 Km wall to avoid elephants entering their site.Bandev returns and decides to fight for their rights.
