- Trained by his mother who was a music teacher, he began learning the piano at four-years-old, followed by the drums and guitar
- Began collaborating for cinema scores in the mid-2000s, which was later followed up by work on popular video games
- Jumped on the new wave bandwagon in the late '80s after joining the ensemble performance group Weekend at Waikiki in 1988
- Often remixes for national ad campaigns, including work for Nike, Adidas, Heineken and Cadillac, among others
