Oprah Winfrey and Dancing pro Tony Dovolani expressed their disbelief with raised eyebrows. And Desperate Housewives' Wisteria Strangler gave his latest quarry a creepy once-over before killing her. Any tidbits on the Fringe finale? — ToddMICKEY: Olivia and Walter make their way "over there" for the two part-finale (May 13 and 20, 9/8c, Fox), in which Walter finally comes face to face with his former partner, Dr. William Bell (guest star Leonard Nimoy). Unfortunately, traveling to another universe has its consequences, and in this case those include someone dying. And if my mole is correct about the identity of the soon-to-be deceased, fans of the show will be apoplectic. Will Hawkes ever have a love interest on CSI: NY? — ClarisseADAM: No one wants that more than Hill Harper. "Hawkes definitely needs some lovin'. Folks have been tweeting to me, saying...
Lots of things came to an end this week on TV — for better and for worse. Blair dumped Chuck on Gossip Girl and House's Cameron and Chase signed their divorce papers. Jack got up for a glass of water, and in an instant, his 24 lady-love Renee was killed by a sniper. But not all the endings were bad. Dean finally outsmarted Zachariah on Supernatural, Betty Suarez got her happily-ever-after, and Melrose Place went out — we think — with a slap. Welcome to Top Moments: Hard to Say Goodbye Edition.
In the end, Betty chose ... nobody. Instead, she moved to London for a great new job opportunity, where she not so coincidentally ran into Daniel, who had recently relinquished the editorship of Mode to Wilhelmina. Betty and Daniel agreed to have dinner together, but... is it a date? Though that distinction is left intentionally ambiguous, elsewhere in the world of Ugly Betty, there was plenty of closure. Marc made his feelings known to Troy. On Marc's urging, Willy decided that true love trumped schemes and called a truce with Claire. Amanda found her birth father. Ignacio learned to let his daughters live their lives, which included Hilda, Justin and Bobby moving out of the family house in Queens and over the bridge into Manhattan. Every week, senior editors Mickey O'Connor and Adam Bryant answer your burning questions. Want some TV scoop? Please send all questions to megascoop@tvguide.com. Will Sarah and Chuck ever become a real couple on Chuck? — PalomaMICKEY: Funny you should put it that way. An upcoming episode asks the same question when S&C pretend to be married for a mission — and end up exchanging some real vows. It's an interesting, slightly distorted echo of that poignant scene earlier in the season when the pair talked about running away together. Any scoop about Grissom making a guest appearance on CSI? — ChelseyADAM: Executive producer Carol Mendelsohn assures us that she broaches the subject every time she sees William Petersen. But...

What's coming up for Danny and Lindsay for the end of this season of CSI: NY? — ChristinaADAM: I know what executive producer Pam Veasey told me: "The season finale will involve a big, big event for Danny and Lindsay. I'll just leave it at that." Hmm, well, since Shane Casey is most likely involved, should fans of the couple be worried about them? "Yes," Veasey says. "It's something that will make them go, 'Oh my goodness!' That will be their response." Express yourself about the Madonna episode of Glee. — ShamusMICKEY: Would you believe it's about, like, virgins? At least three main characters will...
Television is rife with ethically dubious characters. This week a bunch of them made us laugh, cry and cheer their misdeeds. Gossip Girl's Little J set her sights on her stepsister's boyfriend, Southland's Detective Bryant saw a young mentee become a murderer, Jesse exacted delicious revenge on his already exhausted parents on Breaking Bad, and Anna, V's alien den mother, followed up some really weird sex with a little cannibalism. More intriguing, Berkeley will be connected to Horatio's big betrayal, which Delko uncovers. "It's explosive emotionally and it's explosive literally," co-executive producer Barry O'Brien tells us. "It's very dramatic and it's something you've never seen before on CSI: Miami." Before Lost issues its final boarding call, ABC is looking to make some serious bank. A 30-second commercial during the show's series finale will cost $850,000 to $950,000, Advertising Age reports, quoting media buyers. To put that in perspective, the show has sold for an average of $213,563 per half-minute. Major TV events with the highest ad rates — say, the Oscars and the Super Bowl — charge north of $1 million for 30-second spots. Then again, charging more for a series finale is nothing new...

Please send all questions to megascoop@tvguide.com.Got any Lost scoop? — PaulMICKEY: The fifteenth episode of the season, airing May 11, will be Jacob/Man in Black-centric, but don't expect it to follow the same pattern as the season's other episodes. In other news, when Sheila Kelley, who plays Zoe, told us her character is a geophysicist who works for Charles Widmore, we wondered: Does/Did Zoe know Daniel Faraday? "She does not... yet. So far she doesn't know him, but you never know what they're going to throw at you." Well, we did know that. What will the vibe be like between Cameron and Chase when Jennifer Morrison returns to House? — ReginaADAM: I wouldn't put a whole lot of money on any sort of reconciliation...
This week, TV confused us. On Ugly Betty, little Justin kissed a girl... and a boy. Lost threw us for a loop by making bad-boy Sawyer a cop. Every week, editors Mickey O'Connor and Adam Bryant answer your burning questions. Want some TV scoop? Please send all questions to megascoop@tvguide.com. Fringe left us with a crazy cliff-hanger. What will Olivia do with her newfound knowledge about Peter? — BrandtMICKEY: The first post-hiatus episode, April 1's "Peter," is an '80s flashback blockbuster in which Walter finally tells Olivia the truth about his son. It fills in almost all the gaps in Peter's mysterious backstory: why Olivia sees him glimmer, how he was cured and why he owes the Observer his life. Plus: We'll meet Peter's mother for the first time and get a pretty good idea how Nina Sharp lost her arm to "cancer." I'm going through Bones withdrawal.
