Full House Star Nixes Reunion

Ever wonder what happened to the Tanner family from ABC's sitcom Full House, which aired from 1987-95? Well, we know Raising Dad's Bob Saget just became another TV clan's widower dad. But did Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) ever get to be a rock star? Has little Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) finally stopped saying, "You got it, dude"? Tragically, we'll never know the answers to these nagging questions unless there's a reunion special! "I don't really see it happening," Dave Coulier who played goofball Joey tells TV Guide Online. "I just don't think there's t

Full House Alum: Feuding with Alanis?

Well, isn't this ironic: Full House alum Dave Coulier whose relationship and subsequent break-up with rocker Alanis Morissette was scathingly chronicled in her song "You Oughta Know" is launching his own music career. But the Olsen twins' former co-star is here to remind us that he has no cross to bear with his angry ex, and thus, won't be penning his own tell-all ditty in retaliation. "I would never do that," he tells TV Guide Online. "I would never be spiteful or hurtful because I don't think she was really trying to do that to me... I think she was just venting some emotion and it happened to become a hit." Just venting some emotion? In case you've forgotten, here's a snippet from Morissette's tuneful tirade: "It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced. Are you thinking of me when you [blank] her

Perhaps you were mindlessly channel surfing, curious about the forecast or maybe it's just that hunky meteorologist Paul Goodloe got your temperature rising! While Goodloe one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People in 2001 makes light of his looks, he can't help fawning over someone else on the list: Halle Berry. Goodloe gleefully recalls meeting the Oscar winner at a convention a few years ago. "I was sitting at a press conference," the 33-year-old says, "and she was talking about her next movie, X-Men. She talked about how she played a character called Storm, who can control the weather and when she said it, she kind of pointed and referenced to me. "It was a huge thrill," Goodloe gushes.

Sorority Boy: "I'm Not Pretty"

It isn't easy being ugly. Just ask Harland Williams, the lesser-known "girl" in Sorority Boys (opening Friday). The comedian who dresses in drag alongside pretty boys Barry Watson (7th Heaven) and Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville) in the film admits that, unlike his co-stars, he's no dreamboat! "I ain't pretty as a guy, so I sure as hell ain't going to be pretty as a girl," laments Williams, who describes his scene-stealing character as "Kenny G. with a red wig on." In or out of the girlie getup, he cracks, "I wasn't going to try and have any il

Lex Luthor Gets Girlie

When Disney's gender-bending comedy Sorority Boys opens this Friday, Smallville fans everywhere will be flocking to theaters to catch Lex Luthor in drag. However, witnessing the bald baddie's portrayer, Michael Rosenbaum, wearing a dress won't be nearly as shocking as seeing him as a frat boy with yikes! hair. And bad hair at that. Smallville devotees can rest assured, however, that the '70s-esque shag Rosenbaum sports in the film isn't his real 'do. "That was just a horrible wig," says chrome-domed actor, who keeps his head shaved for his role as Clark Kent's future foe. "I wanted it to be bad because it was a comedy." Despite the h

7th Heaven Hunk Quits!

7th Heaven is going to be hell next season for fans of Barry Watson. The actor who has portrayed twentysomething cutie Matt Camden since the WB drama's debut six years ago is calling it quits. "My contract's up this year, so it doesn't look like I'm coming back," Watson confides to TV Guide Online. "I just need a break from Camdenland." A WB spokesperson confirms Watson's impending exit, but holds out hope that he'll stick around on a recurring basis. For his part, Watson admits he'd prefer to make a clean break from the series. "I know they'd like me to come back, but I don't know," he hedges. "We'll see what happens down the road." The 27-year-old's post-Heaven career may ascend to the stratosphere this weekend when theaters unspool his gender-bending farce,

Alan Thicke's Greatest Fear

Growing Pains alum Alan Thicke believes there's nothing to fear but fear itself unless, of course, he's having a bad hair day! Perhaps that's why when the second edition of Celebrity Fear Factor airs tonight at 8 pm/ET on NBC, Thicke who scales the side of a 36-story building won't be cringing about the stunt, but rather, his coif. "I had this horrible little flip in the back," the 55-year-old actor laments to TV Guide Online. "I said [to the producers], 'Can't you remove that digitally?'" Tresses aside, Thicke is proud of his hair-raising experience. Facing youthful opponents like Stephen Baldwin and Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson, he cracks, "I think my goal was simply to represent [an older] demographic. I was like the [aged football Hall

UPN Vixen: As If She's Good!

Look out, Memphis, Missouri! You're about to see a whole other side of hometown girl Adrienne Wilkinson when UPN's new dramedy As If premieres tonight at 9 pm/ET. "The character I play is quite racy," the Midwesterner tells TV Guide Online of materialistic manhunter Nicki. "My grandmother is already prepped. She's like, 'Now you're just acting, right? Right?'" Well, Gram can relax. In real life, Wilkinson is as sweet as Nicki is trampy. "I'm such a mother hen," she admits. "I take care of everyone obsessively, to the point where it's not even my business!" Perhaps that's why the actress, best known for her role as Eve on Xena: Warrior Princess, is more at home in Missouri than Los Angeles. "There is just the smarmy factor of Hollywood," she sighs. "There is the constant secon

Holmes's Time Up at Creek?

Now that Keri Russell and the gang from Felicity are packing it in at the end of the season, critics are hoping those angst-ridden teens on Dawson's Creek will take the hint and call it a day as well. But if the show's stars have it their way Katie Holmes in particular Dawson's upcoming 100th episode (airing April 17, 8 pm/ET) will mark the first of many milestones to come. "As long as we continue telling good stories and keep the level we want to achieve high, I want to do as many [episodes] as possible," Holmes confides to TV Guide Online. (Although the WB has yet to officially rule on Dawson's fate, insiders say the show is a shoo-in for renewal.) Reflecting on the previous 100 episodes, Holmes adm

Julia Stiles: She Loves NY!

Here's one more name you can add to the list of celebs touting their Big Apple pride: Julia Stiles. The Save the Last Dance actress a native Gotham girl and a Columbia University coed rejoices, "More than ever, [I'm] proud to be a New Yorker!" About the tragic events of Sept. 11, Stiles confesses to TV Guide Online that she was shaken up over the destruction of her hometown. Stiles, whose parents live near the former site of the World Trade Center, was touched on a very personal level. "I grew up in that neighborhood, and seeing all the news footage and recognizing every street corner was really terrifying and upsetting," she sighs. "I went back to the block that I grew up on and not seeing the Twin Towers outside my window right down the street was really weird." You'd think the devastation would drive the starlet straight to the West Coast

Anyone who witnessed West Wing First Lady Abigail Bartlet's reaction to her husband-in-chief's decision to run for a second term earlier this season knows that Stockard Channing has that whole psycho thing down pat. But if you thought she was mad then, wait until you see her lose control in The Business of Strangers, her new indie, opening Friday in New York and Los Angeles. In the film, the Emmy- and Oscar-nominated actress plays a high-powered female executive who goes into meltdown mode while cooped up in a hotel room with Julia Stiles. Smallville Babe: She's Got the Look

If you happened to bump into actress Allison Mack on the street, chances are, you'd recognize the face. But placing that face would be another thing altogether. "I always get, 'You have one of those faces,'" the rising star of TV (7th Heaven) and film (Camp Nowhere) tells TV Guide Online. "It's probably because I've just been around the block for a while. [And] I don't look too much like any of the other teen actresses that are out right now." Well, Mack's profile is about to increase dramatically with her new gig as Clark Kent's buddy Chloe on the WB's Smallville (airing Tuesdays at 9 pm/ET). Last week, the WB's Teen of Steel drama pulled in 8.4 million viewers, giving the WB its highest-rated series bow in its seven-year history.

Heath's Courtly Lady Love

Actress Shannyn Sossamon has come far since 1999, when she was first discovered while deejaying at Gwyneth Paltrow's birthday party. Now, the whole world can see her busting a move with Aussie heartthrob Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale (opening Friday). She's especially fond of one romantically hip dance number they did to David Bowie's "Golden Years." "Heath's a good dancer and I'm a good dancer, and it just felt magical," Sossamon enthuses to TV Guide Online. "[It was] like we were filming a musical way back when. It really felt magical." Prior to being cast in A Knight's Tale, Sossamon confesses that like most American moviegoers she wasn't too familiar with Ledger's work. "I knew he was in that movie 10 Things I Hate About You, but I didn't know who he was," she admits. But clearly her fair-haired co-star has left quite an impression on her. "He's just cool," she gushes. "He's awesome. He's really charming

Heath's Tale: Reluctant Star

Heath Ledger who enters leading-man territory this Friday with the opening of A Knight's Tale says he's not surprised that Hollywood's A-list is being overthrown by Down Underlings. "[It's a] secret invasion," he jokes to TV Guide Online, referring to fellow Aussies Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman. "We sent some spies over 10 years ago and they set it all up for us." But seriously, Ledger, whose career got a major boost with last summer's Gibson-starring epic The Patriot, insists that it was never his decision to become a major celeb. "I've always been an actor I'm being created into a star," says the 22-year-old thesp. "That's the studio's decision." Another mandate from Columbia suits: Ledger was not allowed to engage in combat for his role as a medieval jouster in A Knight's Tale. "I didn't get hit," he admits. "They wouldn't let me ride a bicycle insurance-wise

Popular's Bibb Hits the Mother Lode

Popular star Leslie Bibb says she relished the opportunity to get down and dirty for her role as David Arquette's unglam love interest in the big-screen comedy See Spot Run, which grossed a respectable $10 million at the box office last weekend. "I liked being in a movie where you didn't have to worry about being pretty," the actress, who plays squeaky-clean high school cheerleader Brooke McQueen on the WB teen drama, tells TV Guide Online. "You know, in Hollywood, where it's always like, 'What do you look like? How big are your boobs? How big is your butt?' It was like, 'Who cares? Let's put [on] more raccoon eyes!'" See Spot Run also allowed the 26-year-old actress to tackle another first: playing a mother. "When I told my mom... she started laughing," recalls Bibb. "She's like, 'Oh yeah, that'll be good. You don't have any maternal instinct.' I was like, 'Shut up, I have a dog!'" Bibb confesses that the role had a profound effect

Lisa Ling's Shocking Viewing Habits

The View's Lisa Ling admits she's tempted by the controversial Fox reality series Temptation Island. In fact, the 27-year-old Ling who can be seen hosting the WB's G-rated special, "20 Teens Who Will Change the World," Friday at 8 pm/ET says the lust-driven game show is, gasp!, educational. "I have to say that I'm pretty addicted to Temptation Island right now, but not for the typical salacious reasoning," Ling tells TV Guide Online. "What I like about Temptation Island is that jealousy and infidelity are issues that face every couple in the world, and by watching this show you can watch idiots make fools of themselves, but learn from the mistakes that they make. So, I actually find there to be incredible redeeming social value to the show." When she's not indulging in some guilty viewing pleasures, Ling says she's happy to participate in celebrations of youth like Friday's WB/Teen People special. "It was just

Fredro's Starr-Studded Idea

Rapper Fredro Starr is about to add a new title to his credits. Aside from his acting career (his latest flick, Save the Last Dance, opened at number one at the box office this weekend) and his solo music endeavors (his new album hits stores Feb. 13), the Onyx member is now a television producer. "I'm working on a TV show called Young, Rich and Famous with Amy Heckerling, who produced [the TV show] Clueless," Starr told TV Guide Online. "It's like Dallas meets hip-hop. You go into the lives of three rappers: A rapper like a Tupac or DMX... then you have a rapper that's kind of an Eminem type, and then you have like a Lil' Kim type. You go into their lifestyles on a daily basis." Starr adds that he's setting his sights high when it comes to casting the roles. "I want Lil' Kim and I want Eminem. If I can't get them, I'll get somebody who resembles them." Starr also says he's excited about not only

Julia Stiles: Dancing Queen

Julia Stiles, who showed she could bust a move with the best of them in 10 Things I Hate About You, admits that no amount of dance experience could have prepared her for her role in the new romantic drama Save the Last Dance, opening today. "At the beginning of the dance training I was like, 'I thought I was a good dancer!'" Stiles tells TV Guide Online. "It's very intimidating." But the young actress quickly rose to the occasion. "I love to dance, and this was the perfect opportunity to do two kinds: ballet, which I gave up when I was little and sort of wanted to revisit, and hip-hop, which I really enjoyed." Like her Dance alter ego, Stiles was first introduced to hip-hop in a diverse school setting. "I had the experience of being, like, the only white girl in an all-black school in junior high, so I felt familiar with a lot of the things that happened to her," she relates. "Hip-hop culture was dominant, and so I tried to fit into it. "I th
