Xena: Warrior Princess

A portrayal of one of the most dramatic and turbulent times in English history. The House of York's young and handsome Edward IV is crowned King of England with the help of the master manipulator, Lord Warwick "The Kingmaker." But when Edward falls in love with a beautiful Lancastrian commoner, Elizabeth Woodville, Warwick's plan to control the throne comes crashing down. A violent, high-stakes struggle ensues between Elizabeth, her most fierce adversary, Lancastrian Margaret Beaufort, and Anne Neville, the pawn in her father's power game - each woman vying for the crown.

In this quasi-mythological costume series, Hercules (in Greek Herakles), the noble bastard son of Zeus, hence hated to death by his step-mother Hera, doesn't live as an Olympian after accomplishing his Works and the Argonauts' journey, as classical myth has it, but relinquishes immortality and continues to fight both human and supernatural evil on earth, as a wanderer in and beyond Greece, usually accompanied by his human side-kick Iolaus and sometimes by dodgy Salmoneus. Countless are the challenges, either especially set up by Hera or just on his way, but he always triumphs against all odds, delivers otherwise often hopeless mortals and moves on to new adventures.

Alien crime lord Argor arrives on Earth during the Cretaceous period and transforms four random dinosaurs into his anthropomorphic minions. However, they realize he's evil and refuse to work for him. Instead, they call themselves Extreme Dinosaurs and decide to help alien lawwoman Chedra, who's after Argor. Argor then creates three evil minions out of velociraptors and gives them a devastating weapon that they don't know how to use properly, so they cause a cataclysm. In the present day Roswell, science team discovers the alien ship as well as the dino-warriors in stasis inside. The Raptors awake and have only one goal in mind - to speed up global warming so the Earth's climate would again be like in Cretaceous. Extreme Dinosaurs must stop the Raptors. Meanwhile, Chedra realizes that both humans and aliens have their own plans for the dinos.

An animated anthology series by Rankin/Bass, featuring adaptations of both folk tales and classic literature. Among the characters featured in various episodes were Cinderella, Hiawatha, Captain Nemo, Johnny Appleseed, Robin Hood, Puss in Boots, Paul Bunyan, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Robinson Crusoe, Tom Sawyer, and Snow White.

As video game characters, Rip and Raquel Smashenburn face many challenges. Racecar driving (i.e. wrecking) and monster vanquishing are difficult enough, yet neither vocation compares to the struggles of raising two kids. 14-year-old Alice is discovering a new level of social conscience, while 13-year-old Billy hopes to develop social standing via an over-the-top hip-hop persona. Turbo is the Smashenburns' nondescript, 300-pound "pet," but obedience isn't one of his traits. And because no neighborhood would be complete without a family of Kung Fu fighting Shaolin Monks, the Changs live next door.
