SPOILER: In order to further combat organized crimes and root out local mafia, the official sent an investigation group to Jinghai. The mission of the group was to find evident proof towards the criminality of Gao Qiqiang who was a successful local businessman and take down the corrupted ones in the local government. An Xin was a policeman in Jinghai. He was called by Xu Zhong and Ji Ze, the leaders of the investigation. Suddenly, The Tangs Brothers who were the local gangsters asked him to remove his stall because someone with more money found the place nice. Having no money to reinstall his devices, he decided to please the Tangs in order to keep his spot. Unfortunately, his gift was refused and Tang Xiaohu even smashed his gift TV. With the anger, Gao got in a fight with Tangs and their fellow men, but was heavily injured and arrested by the police. After knowing his tragic experience, An who was a police officer of primary level and also the son of director An Changlin felt touched. He allowed Gao's brother Qisheng and sister Qilan to go into the police station and offered Gao his own food during his custody on the day of Chinese New Year. In 2021, Gao was already a successful businessman who controls his own gang power in Jinghai. People admired him for his accomplishments and feared him for his cruelty.
