An American reality television show in which a gay man meets and chooses a mate from a group of 15 potential male suitors. The twist is that the "leading man" does not know the mix of suitors includes both gay and heterosexual men.

Each episode has Rocco DiSpirito judging four aspiring chefs to see if they have what it takes to impress at a private dinner party attended by his discriminating guests. The chefs are asked to create their favorite dish, then a themed appetizer and then a complete menu for the dinner party. After each task, one chef will be eliminated.

Following their dates with De La Rosa, Smiley will grill the guys and voice his opinions on which ones he deems most suitable for his ex. He will also test them in an attempt to find out which ones are there for the right reasons. De La Rosa will choose one suitor from each episode to pass to the next round - in the end, whittling the choices down to that one special guy. Will De La Rosa be able to break from Smiley completely and find love again with someone new?
