When two officers with trouble pasts are made partners in the Mobile Investigative Unit, their personalities clash. MIU are the first police teams to arrive to a crime scene to begin an investigation into what took place. One officer is by the rule book and the other one runs more on gut instincts. Can they become an effective team?
Episode 2
Officer Ibuki trusts his gut about a suspicious passing car, this hunch leads the officers on MUI404 to investigate and chase a murder suspect on the run.
Episode 3
The officers are put on the case of a series of prank calls. Ibuki becomes determined to solve this case. With the reputation of a fast runner, will Ibuki catch them or will the perpetrators out-run him?
Episode 4
Following a shooting incident, Shima and Ibuki search for the victim, but soon learn that the victim has a criminal record.
Episode 5
Officers Shima and Ibuki are sent undercover as convenient store clerks to prevent a robbery. Unfortunately, more than one store becomes the target. How are they going to catch this crook?
Episode 6
After hearing a rumor about Shima's past, Ibuki becomes intrigued about his partner history on the force and begins to look into Shima's past to learn his secrets.
Episode 7
Shima and Ibuki investigate a dead body found in a storage unit. Jinba comes in contact with a criminal while attending a formal gathering with his family.
Episode 8
While investigating an unsolved murder case, Ibuki learns that his mentor arrested the victim years prior, and that this case is part of a serial murder case.
Episode 9
Someone has planted a bug in Kyoko's house, the unit investigates. Kokonoe is determined to find and catch Norikawa, before he commits more crimes.
Episode 10
The MUI unit investigates Etori to learn who is giving the orders. Shima and Ibuki hunt for Kuzumi, who they suspect is the person giving the orders.
Episode 11
The MIU unit is under pressure and could face being disbanded. The pressure is taking a toll on Shima and Ibuki's partnership. It forces Shima and Ibuki to work independent. Could this be good for the unit?
