Episode 1
Thu, Nov 14, 202442 mins
In this, the Christmas season, out of town family members are slowly descending back on their respective family homes in the cul-de-sac. While there are some things that seemingly never change, such as the Manetti-Hanahans' over-the-top light display and the Camarenas quietly or not so quietly seething about it, those returns will lead to the revelation of some not yet divulged issues from the past year, some of those issues happening within the cul-de-sac by the residents and some happening in the lives of the returnees. In addition, Josh Hill, in his return before moving permanently to Sydney, can't seem to stop running into Nora Jacobs, an acquaintance from high school in her current capacity as the town's sheriff, their encounters, seemingly at least from Josh's perspective, not helped by their opposite attitudes in adhering to or bending the rules, including the law in these instances. And while most are happy to see their relations, subdued Lucy Woods is less than thrilled that her free-spirited force-of-nature sister Sylvie Woods has decided to spend the holidays with her.

Episode 2
Thu, Nov 14, 202442 mins
Josh Hill is starting his community service, something that Sheriff Nora Jacobs arranged as a favor to him instead of the standard court appearance in light of he and Stacy imminently moving to Sydney. Josh still sees it as an unnecessary imposition on his life and a worse option than paying a fine, which in this case is not even an option. That service is helping set up the Christmas display at the community center. While he is initially designated to help with trimming the trees, he, with the blessing of all concerned, ends up spending most of his time helping Theo, widowed Nora's son, in his entry for the Christmas ornament competition. Trimming the trees may have been easier as Theo has something very specific in mind which he can only articulate by how it is supposed to make one feel. As Josh works with Theo and by association Nora, he may get a better understanding of his own work and relationship with Stacy, as well as his relationship with his parents onto who he always tries to impose his own misguided sensibilities.

With the collective at the house, she openly surmises that Marcus and Ella are engaged to each other, which Marcus is dismayed to see that no one, including Ella, has corrected her; Ted is still in the closet with Ny-Ny. While Steve, Lois, Ella, and Ted all have different reasons for hiding his sexuality from her, Ted's which includes the fear of their relationship changing in he being the heir apparent to lead her family business, the one common factor is their fear of her. Ted, Steve, and Lois are able to convince Marcus and Ella to go along with the ruse for the few days until Ny-Ny leaves. But maintaining the story only gets more complicated as Ny-Ny takes it upon herself to be their wedding planner, regardless of how far in the future they tell her that wedding will be.

Episode 4
Thu, Nov 28, 202442 mins
Lucy's passive-aggressive animosity toward Sylvie partially melts as Sylvie, who reminds her sister that she is already in a relationship with Christoph and thus is not after Cole, helps her advance Lucy and Cole's obvious attraction for each other, obvious at least to outsiders, but which is still at a stage of Lucy not wanting to make her feelings toward him obvious to him. Sylvie is able to use a structural issue at the bakery to her advantage in her Lucy/Cole mission. And as Sylvie discovers the "Joy box" hidden away in Lucy's house, Joy being Lucy and Sylvie's long-deceased free-spirited mother, whom Sylvie resembles emotionally, Sylvie takes the further opportunity to be Annie's fun aunt in helping her in her first case of puppy love with longtime friend Max, whom Annie fears is more interested in Stephanie Gisondi, and to push her position as minor shareholder, thus silent partner, at the bakery to be not so silent in an effort to support Lucy. That wall between the sisters could spring right back up as Sylvie's efforts have mixed results; from Lucy's perspective, their problems all stem back to Joy's passing and its immediate aftermath.

Episode 5
Thu, Dec 5, 202442 mins
At the Lewin household, the major issue isn't just that Linda is bringing her new boyfriend Evan home and nobody told her ex-husband Robert that she even had someone new in her life--but that Evan is much younger; he's a millennial. (Robert is still trying to find his footing after their split and his retirement.) It is an immediate clash between the former and current loves of Linda's life. Anyone examining the situation closely would see that in Evan, Linda has just chosen a younger version of her ex. How will the situation play out? Could it also provide Max with a model of adult relationships (or a non-model) as he navigates what looks to be a changing relationship with longtime best friend Annie?

Episode 6

The world seemed to be looking up for Gaby: she's preparing an audition to host a cooking show, and she's going home to celebrate her favorite time of year with her family. But when she gets home she discovers that not only is Kevin dating her high-school arch-nemesis Katie, the originator of the "Easy Bake" taunt that make her teenage life miserable, but he's also planning to ask Katie to marry him. Gaby must decide how to deal with her feelings; can she accept Katie as part of her family? She might have an unwitting ally in the long-standing feud between the family patriarchs; in the process, she might discover that every story has two sides.

Episode 7
Thu, Dec 19, 202442 mins
Christmas at the Manetti-Hanahans' has long been primarily characterized as a conflict zone, not only with their neighbors, the feud with the Camarenas next door the most epic, but internally as the individual units of Connie/Chuck, Clark/Rebecca and Laurie/Wally are very different people and thus very different parents. However, it is still an "us against them" mentality in relation to the neighbors. The over the top light display, the primary source of that neighborly conflict, started out as Connie and Chuck wanting a little festive cheer, but Chuck's need to outdo what he did last year, year after year, has turned more into his want to provoke the neighbors. This year's display has already marred their gathering as the "over-the-topness" has contributed to destroying the electrical system of the house, the result being no power. As such, Connie has, this year, made all the adult family members sign a no conflict Christmas contract - Chuck the last and most reluctant signatory - with any person breaching the contract sent for twelve hours to the brig i.e. their shed which has been turned into a man cave. In turn, all the adult members of the family try to find loopholes in the contract to hash out their differences in they just being who they are as a family. Things with the underlying meaning of the contract take on new heights when they discover what has happened between Katie and Kevin, and when they discover why Connie, this year, wanted a harmonious family Christmas.

Episode 8
Tue, Dec 24, 202442 mins
It's Christmas morning, and the storm that passed through overnight has knocked out the power in the cul-de-sac. The only house that has power is the Manetti-Hanahans' as Clark found a way off-grid to overcome their specific power outage issue from the day before. Wanting to foster a new sense of neighborliness, Connie issues an "all welcome" edict for Christmas at their house. Those who decide to attend - some not sure if they are ready to bury the hatchet, especially those with newly open wounds - will still have to hash out their family issues, this time in front of their neighbors which may affect what happens.
