But Sam calls and Leonard knows, the man with him is not Sam so they capture him. When Sam returns, they learn what he did, so Sam decides to replace him and go get what he photographed.

Sam goes to the university where she is presently training for a swimming meet in Dallas. Sam talks to her and she says the meet is all that's on her mind. Sam discovers some men following her and thinking that they're after her for the same thing so he decides to follow her and she gets on a train.

Sam wakes up in a motel with no idea how he got there. He then goes in and when Leonard sees him, he pulls a gun on him and tells him that he thinks Sam killed another agent, whom Leonard fired. Sam doesn't believe he did what Leonard says he did. He goes on the run. He meets a woman who helps him. Later they go to Abby who after talking to Leonard says that he sent the agent on an undercover assignment and that he has a video that shows that Sam killed the agent. Abby gives him a copy and when he sees it he says that the man was alive when he left and the tape was altered. So he sets out to find the actual tape.
