Sofia Nikova is poisoned in her apartment. State attorney Bernd Reuther and Inspectors Julia Schröder and Alexander Witte investigate in a car repair shop where the victim worked in the office. Nikova was involved in several suspicious accidents and collected high amounts from insurances. The expert Lorenz Will is conspicuously reserved. In one of the accidents, a child died - this incident could be key to solving the murder case.

Marc Brehm lives only for his music. He has no intention in taking over his family's winery. The whole work therefore remains on his mother Anita and attached to his brother Viktor. Then, Marc is stabbed to death one night on the family estate. Viktor's ex-girlfriend Hannah is targeted by the police. Marc had abused her. Chief prosecutor Bernd Reuther, meanwhile, wonders whether an old feud with a competing winemaking family might be key to the solution of the murder case.

The city guide Lisa Himler dies in a traffic accident. It quickly becomes clear that it was murder. Lisa had an argument with her boyfriend Theo before the crime. He was recently imprisoned for bodily harm. State prosecutor Bernd Reuther and the Police immerse themselves into the case. The more they do however, the number of suspects increases: Lisa had a close relationship with her boss Moritz Lehmann, her roommate Aylin is hiding something and her colleague Claudia apparently begrudges Lisa of her success.

Ingo Zimmer is murdered in his Wiesbaden apartment. The search for the murderer confronts senior public prosecutor Bernd Reuther with a dangerous opponent. The causes of death were: brutal stab wounds,according to Dr. Judith Engel. However, the murder weapon remains missing, as does the adhesive tape with which the victim was tied up. Reuther suspects that Zimmer knew something that made him cost his life. Ingo Zimmer's daughter Cora had a difficult relationship with her father, but sees no connection with the brutal events.
