At the HQ of huge conglomerate Hampton DeVille (HD), junior executives Jake and Matt seek solace in menial perks like free food to suffer the reign of terror of insane CEO Christian DeVille and the intermediary management levels. When a major HD product is media-compromised by a Tweet from inside, Christian's VP John is ordered to find and fire the culprit, but fears the bell-ringer may be hard to find and even proven right, so he hastily 'delegates' to dispensable juniors Jake and Matt. They smells their chance to finally play top dog, and find the culprit, Richard, but find him so similar, nice and naive they hesitate to wield the ax.

Powerpoint of Death

Corporation HD's latest ambition is to sell its novel cheap weapons for a secret CIA plan to support a Latin American coup. The CEO make sit the top priority, dead-set on payback for another government contract yielded by his rival Arthur Stockheed. Expecting a CIA delegation, a Powerpoint presentation is urgently needed, and Matt's chance to become noted, as the only qualified executive volunteering Jake seeks to advance their careers by using the company's new whistle-blower app against potential rivals, but HR isn't amused by all the work. Furthermore, a security leak requires the duo to schedule a 'deep throat' meeting in the parking lot, checked for wires all-on-ankles.

Having found the self-made celebrity, H&D gets him to accept a cynical deal: he spearheads a marketing campaign with gadgets for anti-H&D protesters produced by and profiting the very conglomerate, which even organizes a protest festival outsides its HQ. meanwhile Jake is startled to learn that Matt once was a famous tagger too, who is frustrated to find out that Trademarq sells out despite fame just as he did for lack of any success.

Corporate Retreat

Despite Jake's warning to lay low, Matt volunteers during the annual Hampton DeVille corporate retreat as guinea pig on stage for the business motivational couple's assertiveness program. Veteran Jake enjoys rival networking with a foxy colleague only to find the dating leads nowhere while their bosses John and Kate simply engage in 'experimental, meaningless' sex. Matt's self-confidence crushes with his standing. Lured into an additional therapeutic campfire 'seminar', finding them sanctimonious frauds and realizing what pointless damage they cause to people's lives, he finds the courage to stand up, only to be show off as 'successfully rebuilt'.

Casual Friday

Meanwhile the trapped executives grow near-desperate, especially after John collects all smartphones, regardless of Matt needing to check on a message suggesting his grandma may be dying.

Society Tomorrow

The talk of the day, a TV show actually produced by H&D, has become the recurrent subject of every staff conversation, to that that Jake, who refuses to watch it like everyone else, feels excluded except for another senior and is even ordered by John to catch up with it at home, priority over any work, even an urgent problem. He feels betrayed by Matt, an eager fan, who however gets caught up too literally in real life, due to a wrist-attached device and traitorous subscription terms.

Weekend

Jake and Matt's hopes for the weekend after five days of drudgery are crushed as they dare not refuse senior executive John commandeering them o Saturday to 'help' moving his grandfather clock. It gets worse, as he insists on a grand tour of his expensive but crazy home of lousy taste and location, and after endless role play tests ends up ordering the clock back where they started. The worst however is the inescapable 'reward', a non-birthday dinner at his favorite, company-owned restaurant, where he enjoys abusing staff and drinks liters of free milk, a weird trait getting his comeuppance at the party at Grace's party when John, who wasn't meant to know, invites himself along when the 'movers' spill the beans. Next office day, they find him an ingrate bully.
