Hip-hop dance groups from around the U.S. compete for money and a chance to land a touring contract.

A humorous, year by year look through the decade that saw hair size become a statement, ratty clothes become cool, and music about breaking up become mainstream. Comprised of segments dedicated to the film, music, fashion and big headlines of the 1980s, with commentary from comedians, musicians and others who lived through it and saw the insanity with their own eyes. Offshoot of the very successful "I Love The 70s!" special, and preceded the "I Love The 90s!" special.

Each episode shows us scenes from the real life of a typical multimillionaire middle-aged heavy-metal rock star with two teenagers, a shopaholic wife that's the real head of the house, a large stable of unruly pets, and some of the many people they meet up with. Events include teen daughter Kelly secretly getting a tattoo; run-ins with noisy neighbors; and preparations for a concert tour.

A fictional boy band and the troubles they face as they make their rounds in the music business.

Led by patriarch Rev Run, hip hop's first family lets viewers see the good and the bad as they navigate life and prove that a family who prays together stays together. Rev Run and his wife Justine parent their kids in their own unique way, and Rev strives to find balance between being a father, a reverend and a musical icon.
