New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Character Posters Revealed

With only a month and a half left until Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters, J.J. Abrams has found a way to whet our appetite even more by releasing the official character posters for Episode VII. The various images feature Rey (Daisy Ridley), Leia ( Carrie Fisher ), Kylo Ren ( Adam Driver ), Han Solo ( Harrison Ford ) and Finn ( John Boyega ) staring down the camera with their right eye obscured. Why? We have no idea. And besides, there's a more pressing question we need answered: Where the eff is Luke Skywalker ( Mark Hamill )?!? The original Star Wars hero was also absent from The Force Awaken 's official poster, which Ford recently revealed wasn't without a reason. We'll just have to wait until The Force Awakens hits theaters on Dec. 18 to find out why. In the meantime, check out the badass character posters below. <shortcode uuid="1a9d86d9-e84a-4d4b-a5e8-60d387bc0f1c" float="none" size="original" target-url data-key="image__1a9d86d9-e84a-4d4b-a5e8-60d387bc0f1c" shortcode="image" image-caption=" John Boyega, Star Wars: The Force Awakens " image-credit="Lucasfilm/Disney" image-alt-text="finn-character-poster.jpg" image-filename="finn-character-poster.jpg" image-width="630" image-height="921" image-date-created="2015-11-04 19:54:30.000000" image-date-updated="2015-11-04 19:56:30.000000"> <shortcode uuid="84855fa6-5bb2-4c6f-89f3-68c194b5112f" float="none" size="original" target-url data-key="image__84855fa6-5bb2-4c6f-89f3-68c194b5112f" shortcode="image" image-caption=" Harrison Ford, Star Wars: The Force Awakens " image-credit="Lucasfilm/Disney" image-alt-text="han-character-poster.jpg" image-filename="han-character-poster.jpg" image-width="630" image-height="918" image-date-created="2015-11-04 19:54:31.000000" image-date-updated="2015-11-04 19:56:30.000000"> <shortcode uuid="a7f7339a-214c-48b9-9203-3ec231d7c884" float="none" size="original" target-url data-key="image__a7f7339a-214c-48b9-9203-3ec231d7c884" shortcode="image" image-caption=" Daisy Ridley, Star Wars: The Force Awakens " image-credit="Lucasfilm/Disney" image-alt-text="rey-character-poster.jpg" image-filename="rey-character-poster.jpg" image-width="630" image-height="787" image-date-created="2015-11-04 19:54:33.000000" image-date-updated="2015-11-04 19:56:30.000000"> <shortcode uuid="a0066ff3-24e9-4cce-8287-1c9dac3498b8" float="none" size="original" target-url data-key="image__a0066ff3-24e9-4cce-8287-1c9dac3498b8" shortcode="image" image-caption=" Adam Driver, Star Wars: The Force Awakens " image-credit="Lucasfilm/Disney" image-alt-text="kylo-ren-character-poster.jpg" image-filename="kylo-ren-character-poster.jpg" image-width="630" image-height="924" image-date-created="2015-11-04 19:54:32.000000" image-date-updated="2015-11-04 19:56:30.000000"> <shortcode uuid="3f3b798b-4fe1-4892-91d6-e9b1e1720bc1" float="none" size="original" target-url data-key="image__3f3b798b-4fe1-4892-91d6-e9b1e1720bc1" shortcode="image" image-caption=" Carrie Fisher, Star Wars: The Force Awakens " image-credit="Lucasfilm/Disney" image-alt-text="leia-character-poster.jpg" image-filename="leia-character-poster.jpg" image-width="630" image-height="918" image-date-created="2015-11-04 19:54:32.000000" image-date-updated="2015-11-04 19:56:30.000000">
