Ratings: Nikita's Premiere Fails to Engage

Nikita returned Friday night on The CW, but the premiere wasn't nearly as engaging for viewers as it was for its characters. The series scored 950, 000 viewers and a 0.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down 50 percent from last year's opener.
On the other hand, Shark Tankcontinued its success, earning a series high with a 2.0 in the demo.
ABC and Fox, which aired Game 5 of the National League Championship Series (6.36 million, 1.76), tied for the night in the demo, while CBS led in viewership.
