The Strain's Season 2 premiere featured Eichorst (Richard Sammel), at the Master's command, abducting a bus full of blind children to turn them into a new kind of vampires called "Feelers." But just what does the Master have in store for them?

While the full answer to that question likely won't come right away, Sunday's episode (10/9c, FX) offers some hints. The pack of creepy kids is officially turned over to Kelly (Natalie Brown), who makes quick (and violent) work of selecting only the cream of the crop from this new batch of blood-suckers. And by the end of the episode, it's clear that Kelly believes the Feelers' heightened sense of smell is the key to helping her track down her son Zach (Max Charles).

Elsewhere in Sunday's episode, Eph (Corey Stoll) and Nora (Mia Maestro) begin experimenting on their newly infected patients in hopes of finding a cure. And although the duo makes some significant progress, Eph is forced to make some questionable choices for the greater good. Plus: Prepare for another flashback-heavy download about Setrakian (David Bradley), which illuminates both his past with Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde) and his incessant quest to find the Occido Lumen, the book that Setrakian believes will help him destroy the Master.
