The couple has been engaged for three years and originally planned to wed in California until Proposition 8 overturned the state Supreme Court's same-sex marriage ruling. New York became the sixth and so far largest state to legalize same-sex marriage last month; the law took effect Sunday, but Matarazzo, 28, and Murphy were in no rush."I always wanted a wedding," Murphy says. "Not a trip to city hall."The pair is now planning a fall or spring wedding with more than 200 guests. Matarazzo, who plays Sadie Atkins in the upcoming film Manson Girls, wants to wear an off-white dress, while Murphy, a recording artist, will likely wear a white pants suit, "but a sexy one."

After marrying, the couple hopes to start a family. "We've always talked that Caroline would have a child first, and then I will go," Matarazzo says, adding that they want to adopt afterward.
