Narrated by John Goodman, the special will follow a team of expert guides and wildlife filmmakers who set out to live alongside the sometimes ferocious grizzly bears during the five months they are out of hibernation. The special will culminate with the annual salmon run, as the bears must attempt to double their body weight before hibernation season sets in.
