Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Kidd's (Miranda Rae Mayo) agonizing dance around their feelings for each other finally came to a head on Chicago Fire, and the Stellaride ship has officially set sail! And it looks like Taylor Kinney is just as thrilled as you are about the exciting new relationship.

"I think it's great. I'm anxious to see where it goes," he told TV Guide during NBC's Upfront red carpet event on Monday.

But just because they're together, it doesn't mean they'll run off into the sunset just yet. There are still some obstacles to overcome, namely navigating a relationship while at the same firehouse -- a feat Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) were barely able to get around because they got married and Dawson moved back to being a paramedic. But things might not go as smoothly for Kidd and Severide who, while assigned to different trucks, will probably be confronted with that pesky rule about two firefighters dating under the same roof.

"I know it can be tricky with dating in the firehouse," teased Kinney.

While tricky, there's also no denying that the relationship is already changing Severide for the better. Never one to express his feelings, we're seeing him finally open up about what is going on inside that brain of his. If he keeps this up, he might actually have a shot at getting his act together! "We'll see. It hasn't been my forte," said Kinney.
