It's June, which means it's time to head to the beach, soak up as much sun as possible, and celebrate the whole rainbow LGBTQ spectrum -- lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and all the other ways one can self-identify in 2019.

While we certainly celebrate all LGBTQ characters throughout the year, June's Pride Month gives us the perfect reason to pay a little more attention to them and how they're all represented across television. While many of these characters are finally receiving the storylines they deserve on their respective shows, aside from how they identify, some still have a long way to go when it comes to not queer-bating, straight-washing, or burying your guys.
