Jimmy and a plump plow-boy rival pursue the farmer's lovely daughter with their violent attentions and endeavor to knock each other out by a variety of ingenious expedients Ultimately, however, the charming girl's true lover returns from the war, and the amorous ones find themselves both deserted.
