A police sergeant is after the bizarre kidnapping case of a small child. In an effort to explore what lies behind this case and to reach the perpetrators discovers that every suspect has a double life. The research leads unexpectedly the victim who is the child's mother, Maria Flora, but also the perpetrator Phoebus Staveris, her former lover.
