Kalyani is a well known political figure also known for her social work and fighting for rights of people she lives with her two sons Jay and Vijay,Jay is mentally disturbed and in an asylum.Juiley and Sayali are two sisters where Sayali's marriage gets fixed to Vijay on the day of marriage Jay is released from asylum with required permissions but at the wedding venue he attacks Juiley by calling her Kasturi the girl whom he was deeply in love.Juliey opens up to her family that she and Jay studied in same college and he called her Kasturi he was possessive and would stalk her but she just took him as her friend.As Juliey ignored him Jay planned an acid attack on him but her fiend became the victim but he repented he felt it was Juiley and went insane.Kalyani now thinks the only way to make Jay normal is by marrying him to Juliey.
