In Mauje Kabnur village men take a oath on Independence Day that no one will henceforth drink alcohol in village and if one found will be severely punished.Rahuba can't resist and is caught drinking for which he is ashamed in whole village.Next day early morning Rahuba leaves village without informing his wife Taramati and swears to take revenge on the village.He reaches city and meets con men Saheb and starts working with him.While Taramati gets a letter from him saying he is having a stable job working with well known personality.The village head Patil approaches Rahuba and Saheb to come to their village and help them in developing it.Rahuba and Saheb have planned a big con with Gulabai to cheat the villagers.But Patil's relative Inspector L.K Sawant is suspicious and starts to keep a watch on them.
