Joseph is an introverted cinephile prone to flights of fancy. He likes Sofia, an easygoing woman with priorities of her own, and wants to spend time with her. One day they go to see a foreign film, a rare opportunity for them. Joseph knows he must confess his feelings for her but always gets cold feet. In between his hangout (or date) with Sofia, Joseph engages in conversations with his closest friends, self-assured Thomas and kindred spirit Jules, about what he should do. As reality and imagination blur, he realizes that he must embrace the unknown. Channeling Éric Rohmer and Haruki Murakami, FINE TIME is an imaginative and dramatic tale of love and longing set over the course of a day.
