• Has won a Writers Guild of America Award with Penn Jillette for their magic act, along with a Star on the Walk of Fame not too far from the famous magician, Harry Houdini
• Although in most of his acts he remains silent, he received his master’s degree from Amherst College and taught English and Latin at Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey
• Quote: "Magic is the art of creating false (but funny or beautiful) cause-and-effect relationships․ That's our area of expertise․ When we do it on a stage, the audience is fooled, but only for the moment, only in the theater․"
• He and Penn Jillette have written three magic books, and he came out with a memoir of his father featuring paintings and cartoons which were influenced by George Lichty
• Recognized for his Las Vegas show with Penn Jillette, "Penn & Teller," where he performs magic and found that if he remained silent through his show, his audience would focus more
• Legally changed his name to Teller, and on his driver’s license it reads, "NFN Teller," NFN standing for No First Name
• Besides performing magic and writing, is known to be a very talented painter, and enjoys playing the vibraphone
