• Named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch and appeared on Comedy Central's Hot List of '09
• Graduated from Georgetown University in 2001, where he discovered a love for improv
• Encouraged by one of his teachers, he started performing in school plays in high school
• First performed stand-up at a "Funniest Act on Campus" show at Georgetown, where he bombed the show but got noticed by fellow student and comedian Mike Birbiglia
