• Trained in acting with the Center Stage LA theatre company and found an agent after performing in one of the company's talent showcases
• His father, Joseph C․ Nemec III, was the production and art designer for films like "Twister" and "The Goonies․"
• While being transported to the set of "Poseidon Rex" in 2013, he was involved in a boating accident that shattered his leg and required numerous blood transfusions
• Made his screen acting debut in the TV series "Sidekicks" in 1987 when he was 12 years old
• Was inspired to become an actor after seeing "The Goonies," in addition to being influenced by his parents' artistic professions
• His first major role in film was Noble Tucker in 1988's "Tucker: The Man and His Dream," which helped to kick start his career
• Best known for playing Parker Lewis in "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" and Jonas Quinn in "Stargate SG-1․"
• Appeared in the music video for Willie Nelson's song "Beer for My Horses․"
• In the 1990s he joined the rap group Starship of Foolz, which was produced by actor Balthazar Getty
